Polihale State Park Beach

Polihale State Park offers several miles of shoreline that averages around 300' from the barrier dunes to the surf line. Sand dunes along the beach may reach a heights close to 100'. Located to the north of Pacific Missile Range Facility, Polihale Beach is flanked to the north by the Na Pali coast mountain ridges and on the east by agriculture field, bordered by mountain ridges.

Although swimming is allowed at Polihale Beach, only the Queens Pond which is located toward the southern end of the park is safe. No lifeguards are available. Dropping off rapidly to deep water, Polihale Beach has strong rip currents.

Polihale State Park is reached by traveling 5 miles along a dirt road (4WD recommended) from Mana Village off Kaumualii Highway (Highway 50).
