Dry Tortugas National Park

A cluster of seven islands composed of coral reefs and sand, Dry Tortugas National Park is known for it's bird and marine life and it's legends of pirates and sunken gold. Dry Tortugas' unfinished Fort Jefferson is one of the largest coastal forts ever built, and is now a central feature.

Directions:

Located almost 70 miles west of Key West, there are no roads to Dry Tortugas National Park, it can only be reached by boat or seaplane.
